Have taken all trim off the tailgate and inspected all cables, connectors and earth's. Have removed and checked connectors on the main ECM, ABS module, engine fuse box, glove box fuse box. No corrosion. Have taken out the front passenger seat, and have checked the front to back passenger loom.

Some latest updates. Replaced the fuse box with a new one FK72-14F041-AE. Problem likely solved (At least for now as no failure messages on dashboard so far. 3 days now since replacement). After installing this new fuse box, a system re-programming is required. However we are facing another issue during the re-programming process via SDD.
hi buddy if you do a search on the subject you will find it is a commen problem it usually shows as a missfire or rough running,it tracks down the ecu loom from where it lives in the engine i dont think your ecu will be full of oil or you would have no end of problems it can be cleaned out with electrical contact spray cleaner i think and most sufferes change the ecu loom for an updated
